Here's something most agents won't say: sometimes the best thing I can do is introduce you to someone else. Someone who knows your market inside and out, who's exactly right for your situation — and who I'd trust with my own family.

That's the whole model. I'm a real estate referral agent — licensed, but not trying to be your listing agent or buyer's agent. My job is to be the person who already knows the right broker wherever you want to be, and to make that introduction with real care and context.

I've spent over three decades living, working, and raising my kids in Colorado's mountain communities. Along the way — and on every trip since — I've made it a priority to connect with the best brokers wherever I go. A coffee in Malibu, a glass of wine in Aspen, a walk through a neighborhood in Charleston. Those conversations become the relationships that serve my clients for years. When you're ready to find a place, I help you find the right person to get you there.

And I genuinely care how it turns out. I stay in touch. I want to hear that you found your place and that you love it.

How I get paid — no mystery here

You pay me nothing. I earn a referral fee from the broker I introduce you to, and only when your transaction actually closes. If it doesn't work out, I don't make a dime. Simple as that.

I moved to Colorado in 1992 and never looked back. Not because I had to stay — because I genuinely love it here.

I spent my Vail years doing work I loved: editing Vail Home Magazine, writing and producing a home design show for Plum TV where we told the stories of extraordinary homes through designers, architects, and builders. I founded Sugarlicious, a beloved candy and gelato shop that became a Denver institution. I served on nonprofit boards, raised two kids who grew up on these mountains, and built a life that felt full and real.

Four years ago I chose Telluride — deliberately and with both eyes open. Becoming a broker felt like the natural next chapter: I already knew the lifestyle, I already knew good people in every market, and I already cared deeply about helping people find places they love. That part hasn't changed.

I work with the JW Group at Telluride Properties, part of the Forbes Global Properties family. Almost all of my business comes from referrals — from friends, clients, and people who know that when Jill sends you somewhere, it's going to be good.

always ask me.

How is this different from just calling a broker myself?

Anyone can call a broker. But how do you know they're the right one for you? I've spent years building personal relationships with trusted brokers in markets across the country. I know their strengths, their style, and who they're best suited for. I do the vetting — so when I make the introduction, it's a considered match, not a random click. And because I earn a referral fee from the broker (not from you), my only incentive is to make a great match.

Do I sign anything? Is there any obligation?

No obligation whatsoever. We have a conversation, and if I can help, I will. If the broker I introduce you to isn't the right fit, we'll figure it out. There's nothing to sign on your end and no strings attached.

Really — it costs me nothing?

Truly nothing. I earn a referral fee from the broker I introduce you to, and only when your transaction closes. If it doesn't close, I make nothing. You pay exactly what you'd pay working with any broker directly — my fee comes out of the commission that already exists in the transaction.

What if I already have a broker in mind?

Go with who you trust. I'm always happy to talk through your options or give a second opinion — even if that means pointing you back to someone you already know. I'm genuinely not trying to redirect anyone who has a great relationship already.

I have broker relationships across ski destinations (Telluride, Vail, Aspen, Park City, Jackson Hole), coastal markets (The Hamptons, Malibu, Miami, Nantucket, Hawaii), lakefront (Lake Tahoe, Lake Michigan), cities (New York, LA, Chicago, Denver), desert (Scottsdale, Santa Fe, Palm Springs), ranch and land, and international markets through Forbes Global Properties. How quickly can you make an introduction?

Usually within a day or two. First we talk — then I reach out to the right broker, give them proper context about you and what you're looking for, and make a warm introduction. The better our conversation, the better the match I can make.
